Use this calculator by inputting your desired flow rate, then your desired pressure, then hit calculate. The resulting nozzle size is the approximate size orafice that you need.
For instance, if you have a 4.0 GPM machine, and you do not want to use your unloader to adjust your pressure down to 1500 PSI (because of the loss of flow), then the resulting calculation would be 6.53, or a 6.5 orafice nozzle. So using the 6.5 nozzle would then give you 1500 PSI at 4.0 GPM.
